Unable to update existing delegation

Hi everyone,

We used Saviynt v23.6 and I have some difficulties  when I want to modify an existing delegation being me the "Parent User".

The "Delegate User" can change any attribute and update the existing delegation, however I as the "Parent User" cannot change the "End date" without also changing the "Delegate User".

Use case: I need to extend only the date and time and keep the same Delegate User.

I attached below the Saviynt message when I try to update an active delegation

If you could help me I would appreciate it

Thanks,

Hi @CeLopezini ,

Greetings,

I'm able to edit an active delegation and I'm able to modify both the start and end dates without any issue in 23.7 version.

steps I followed:

1. Manage delegates

2. Edit the active delegation

3. Modify the values (start date/enddate) and update.

Thanks,

Regards,
Pruthvi

These are the steps I perform, but the result is different. It only works when the "Delegate User" makes the change.

Under Global Configuration -> Request - Delegation enable "Allow Multiple delegates for the same time period"

Unfortunately I had thought of that too, but I still have the same problem. This is my initial configuration

I have also tried to deactivate it and reactivate it thinking that it could be a bug, but I still get the same message.

Thanks

It might be a bug as with same config it works for me in 5.5.
