Hi Experts,
We have implemented a transfer ownership use case for Users and Service Accounts.
Here we transfer ownership for the manager in case of users and account owners in case of service accounts.
Now, we want to update the same to the affected user's target system i.e.
1) Update the new manager to all affected user accounts in their AD profile.
2) Update the new owner to all affected service accounts to their AD profile.
How this can be achieved? As the transfer ownership seems to be happening internally in Saviynt but want to update the same to the target system.
Thanks,
Rahul Mulik

Create user update rule.

Hi Rushikesh,
I already have the User Update rule via import which checks when the user's manager field is updated and should trigger an update account task.
But when the user's manager is updated as part of the transfer ownership process it doesn't trigger this rule. Seems manager update via transfer ownership is not considered as an update from import.
Thanks,

Use actionable report

Hi Rushikesh,
How we can make sure that we are getting only those users who are updated and that the update is only done for manager or owner updates?
As we don't want to trigger tasks for each update made on the user or service account as that is taken care of by rules.
Thanks,

Import user manager information in account cp and compare with users manager if both data doesn’t match trigger update account task for ad

Thanks, Rushikesh,
This will work for the user manager. How we can do it for Service Account whose owner gets changed? They will not have any users associated with them.
