Terminate the user if user not in feed

Hi Team,

We are working on the user termination through user import full Job and we have set the 'User Not In Feed Action'  as "Inactiveuseronly" but it is not terminating after user import.

Also we have tried by setting 'User Not In Feed Action' as 'In-Activate' and also set 'User Termination from Imports' as 'Disabled' . Because we want only user to be inactive. still users are not getting disabled after import.

Any advice as to what settings/config that might have been missed to allow this action to take place would be appreciated.

@aminahasware Are you seeing any error in the logs?

Can you try once  by defining the user terminate limit

@rushikeshvartak @SumathiSomala - does user termination also depend on the source of the user's creation? For example-

1. I have 2 authoritative sources. A and B with import jobs as AJ and BJ have the user not in the feed set to "InactivateUserOnly".

2: Now user AU is created by A, and user BU is created by B.

3: So if you run AJ, does it try to inactivate user BU as it does not find it in its source A feed, and vice versa? Or it will try to inactivate only users created by the same source.

Any idea how it works behind the scenes?

Where to find the source of the user in the user's table?

  • It will inactivate user from same source.
  • You can find source information in users table

@rushikeshvartak - oh in that case can we change the user source? I tried using an enhanced query but it says insert or update is not allowed in the user table. Any other option?

Try using Sav4 Saviynt REST Connector

@Manu269 - the problem is that the Workday report which creates the user only contains the user record till the hire date. After that user is moved to 2nd report. So if we put the same config in 1st report, it will disable all existing users having hire date < today date.
