Hi

We have a technical rule as below , when we click on the preview of that technical rule we can see that user but there are no pending tasks were generated for that user.

Note: user have satified the conditions mentioned in the rule

Click Preview to view the users that are impacted before saving the Technical rule. A preview of the Technical rule is a draft and can be updated before you actually send the rule for approval.

Preview of the rule wont create any task. Please go through below documentation.

https://docs.saviyntcloud.com/bundle/SSM-Admin-v55x/page/Content/Chapter05-Policies/Updating-Technic...

<<

  1. Once the Technical Rule is created, ensure that you create the Technical Rule Job from ADMIN > Job Control Panel > Utility > Run Detective Rules and Take Action (DetectiveProvisioningRulesJob) > Select Detective Technical Rules under Execute Rules dialog box.
  2. Click Submit once the job is created.
  3. Once the condition is mapped in Technical Update Rule pending tasks are created.
  4. You can schedule WSRETRY Job which completes the pending tasks and also performs the provisioning or de-provisioning of identity objects to third-party application. Based on the actions defined, birth-right accounts are created and access is provided to specified endpoints. In addition, if Remove Birthright Access if conditions fails is selected and if the condition specified fails, birthright access provided is removed.

Hi Rushikesh,

The user is updated via import.
