When testing the connection from Azure AD this is the response we get(Image Attached)

I appreciate you reaching out to the Saviynt forums.

#Based on the screenshot you provided, it appears that there is an issue with the SAML configuration on the Saviynt side. Specifically, the error message suggests that there is an issue with the name ID format being used in the SAML assertion.

  • To resolve this issue, you may need to review the SAML configuration on the Saviynt side and ensure that the correct name ID format is being used. The name ID format should match the format expected by Azure AD.
  • Additionally, you may want to review the SAML logs on the Saviynt side to get more information about the specific error that is occurring. The logs may provide additional clues as to what is causing the issue.

#Furthermore, the URL for this page contains an error https://company.saviyntcloud.com/ECM/login/authfail?login_error=1

  • The error URL you provided suggests that there was an issue with the authentication process when attempting to log in to the Saviynt ECM . The "login_error=1" parameter indicates that the authentication failed, but without further information, it is difficult to determine the exact cause of the error.

Please let us know if further information is needed from our end.

Hi @Arsath_Ahmed,

There are several steps you can take to troubleshoot SSO issues:

  1. Check the error message: If you are receiving an error message when trying to use SSO, it can provide valuable information about the cause of the issue. Make sure to read the error message carefully and look for any specific details that might help in identifying the problem.

  2. Verify your configuration: Make sure that your SSO configuration is correct and that all the necessary information has been entered correctly. This includes checking the URLs, entity IDs, and certificates used in the configuration.

  3. Check the logs: If your SSO solution provides logs, they can be a valuable source of information when troubleshooting issues. Look for any error messages or other relevant information in the logs that might help in identifying the problem.

  4. Test with a different browser or device: Sometimes, issues with SSO can be caused by problems with a specific browser or device. Try using a different browser or device to see if the issue persists.

Please validate the above steps and let us know if further assistance is needed.
