Import job created to import users from LDAP tool. Few columns from users contains special characters which are correctly imported in Savyint; However, such users are not editable using User Edit page.

Examples of usernames including special characters:

  • Lukić
  • Pacôme
  • Michaël

Checked below forum link where special characters can be retained using Username Generation Rule

Did You Know? You can retain special characters in... - Saviynt Forums - 3138

However, there is no fixed set of special characters which can be defined using Username Generation Rule. Is it possible to retain all special characters imported or available in Users.

You can use preprocessor if you don’t need special characters.

What is rational behind keeping special characters?

I need special characters as it is part of upstream systems.

Is there any option available to allow special characters in imported data?

Currently its not configurable. Whatever code allowed those are acceptable.
