SMTP; Client was not authenticated to send anonymous mail during MAIL FROM

Hi,

We are getting the below error in Saviynt PROD environment while testing the SMTP configuration.

Error While Test connection: Failed messages: com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 530 5.7.57 SMTP; Client was not authenticated to send anonymous mail during MAIL FROM

This error is received from the PROD environment. Please refer to the SMTP configuration as shown in the attached image in Fig: 1 below. With this configuration, the email is not sent.

With the same configuration, we are able to send emails in the DEV environment. Please refer to the SMTP configuration in the attached image Fig:2 below.

Can you please let us know why there  is two different behavior with the same settings in two different environments?

The point here is why the same configuration, that is working in one environment is not working in another environment. Please note, the SMTP host remains the same for both the environments and DevOps team has confirmed the network connectivity between EIC, SC 2 Client and the SMTP host.
