Selete access request with a future start date before/time arrives and pending tasks get created?

I was wondering if there is a way to delete an access request with a future start date and time before that time arrives? We can't see the tasks in pending tasks in order to disable them until 5 min before the start date/time. Is there any way to delete the request before the pending tasks get created?

Hi @kfoley ,

Can you please elaborate the business requirement. There is no way to delete any requests from the system. Can you please elaborate on how the future dated requests are created and why do you want to delete them.

Thanks,

The request was submitted to grant an entitlement to a user for a set date/time in the future, the wrong date/time was selected and we don't want the user to get that entitlement at the time that was selected. Before that time is reached are there any options to delete or modify the request in the event of an error in the request?

Existing request can be

  1. Modified from Request History
  2. Rejected by Approver
  3. Discontinued ( if feature is enabled)

Hi @kfoley ,

Apologies for the delayed response. We have the option to discontinue a request even after it is submitted. You can go to the request history and find the option to do the same. Screenshot 2023-06-01 at 12.49.40 PM.png

Please find the below documentation link to understand it better:
