2.
While working on the xxxx-xx.xxxx.xxxx.com and xxxx-xx.xxxx.xxxxx.com we successfully applied the available updates to our production servers but we experienced one failure while attempting to update the MariaDB…  We received the following Error:

Delta RPMs disabled because /usr/bin/applydeltarpm not installed.

Questions:
  1. Is the MariaDB currently in use on the two production servers?  (saviyntprd-nw.nbtad.nbtbci.com & saviyntprd2-nw.nbtad.nbtbci.com)
  1. If the MariaDB is in use, what version should we be using?
  1. Can you provide us with a good repository for updating our MariaDB, since our current repository is failing?

Hi @PB ,

Please find below suggestions from our Infra team regarding this :

Here are the suggestions for the issues posted above:

  1. Saviynt Production servers are sending out the following Alerts: Please ask the customers to deploy our latest monitoring package which has the latest scripts and have been tested.
Please find the document link here: https://saviynt.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/43000665767-saviynt-client-monitoring-setup...
In case the customers are still facing issues with false alerts, please raise a Support ticket and work with Saviynt Support to raise a DevOps jira to help with this.
  2. Failure while attempting to update the MariaDB: The error occurred in this case can be due to network connectivity issues or when the actual repository used is down for maintenance. I also observed that the deltarpm package has not been installed.
Here are the suggestions for this:
    • Install deltarpm package and retry the yum update.
Command: yum install deltarpm && yum update
    • Disable the MariaDB repo and try the update.
      Command: yum --disablerepo=mariadb update
These should fix the issues posted, in case any further help is needed then the customer needs to create a support ticket and work with Support to create a jira ticket for Devops for the same.
