Hi,
We have a requirement to add ROLE_SAV_MANAGER to all the managers and from the source no flag is set up to distinguish manager. We have to identify it from users manager field.
Is ROLE_SAV_MANAGER assign to managers by default or any settings is available to enable the same?
Apart from SavforSav appreciate if any other approach is there, so we can adapt.

I believe that before wo go ahead and create actionable analytics as per the article, we need to create a SAv4Sav Rest based connection and endpoint then we can go ahead and configure this report.
If yes, please mention this in the article clearly, as a pre-requisite.

Yes that is true it required SAV4SAV endpoint now that can be either REST or DB based on the version. But yeah prerequisite is to have SAV4SAV Endpoint which is not clear in documentation

No there is no such setting which will automatically identify and assign manager sav role.
You have to use the actionable analytics to identify such users and provision the sav role as mentioned in document referred by @ParitaSavla .
Also @gauravchandok is correct in way that this process requires to have an sav4sav endpoint and have SAVRoles as entitlements
Query mentioned in document where they referred to IGA as endpoint name which is nothing but sav4sav endpoint which have SAVRoles as entitlement.
