Salesforce Integration - Saviynt security features

This is regarding the Salesforce integration for one of the customer and they want the salesforce application to be passed through APIM, which will need customization and we can’t use the OTB salesforce connector.

We discussed with customer on this and they came up with below reason to use APIM-

  1. They want to capture the logs/events through APIM
  2. Security point of view.

As Cloud to Cloud connection has already built in security, we wanted to check the Saviynt capability to get the required events and about the security features provided by saviynt for any cloud integration?

Any one can help on this?

Thanks,

Nupur

HI @Nmaheshwari

Saviynt  connects to  salesforce via the app registered and events/logs are generally captured in salesforce end with the saviynt App which was registered, so what extra events needs to be captured or you are looking?

But to pass through APIM, its not supported and you can raise it as a enhancement

You can create a ticket on ideas portal as an enhancement.

Thanks

HI,

We want to capture the api calls and all events which are made to salesforce through saviynt.

Is there any way we can provide these events to customer?

It is captured at salesforce, from saviynt we don't capture any calls or events

Thanks

We want to monitor all the create, update profile, update permissions triggered by Saviynt and wants to monitor those with SIEM tool like splunk, dynatrace. can we achieve this?

You can get all the create, udpate , add profile details by the tasks generated in saviynt ( add access, new account, update account ) those are only the events captured and you can create a analytics for that specific events to be tracked.

Thanks
