Hi Team,W

We are using salesforce OOTB connector and have instance URL which we have used in the connector. Now Customer wants to hit the salesforce application URL through APIM. Will Salesforce connection, Instance URL will consume APIM URL or it needs only Instance URL. Also is there any way how we can check which URL is being invoked after hitting the Instance URL?

Regards,

Varsitha

Hi @Varshi_Balaji

It is always recommended to use the instance url only , what is the business use case here that you want to use the App url ( Also if you can ping what exact url you want to use ).

Also As per the documentation it is mentioned what and all we support and there are certain Api calls which we made inside the ootb connector, so there is no way to check those.

If you still want to use App url, Please check in postman ( for App url ) and see if you are able to generate the token and validate all the Api's you need to do, if everything works then you can probably go and test it out.

Hi Darshan,

We need to access Salesforce though APIM URL and then to authenticate the APIM URL, we need to pass subscription key. Wanted to understand is there any attribute/field present in Salesforce connector where we can do this kind of customization?

Ohh okay, Right now it is not supported and you only have to use instance url in Salesforce connector. If you feel you want this you can login in and create a ticket on ideas portal as an enhancement.

Thanks,
Darshan
