Role Creation using CSV Upload

Hi Team,

I am trying to create multiple application roles using CSV upload. I am using the sample CSV file from documentation and edited its values. After I upload the CSV using Actions -> Upload Role Associations it is saying a background job has started but no role is created. Attached the CSV file. Can someone share a sample CSV file that they have used and is working?

Hi @NirajSaraf 

In your file, please change the Role type from 5 to "Application" like below

Also, did you check logs for any potentials errors? If yes, request you to please share the same.

I tried changing role type to application, but it is still not working. Also, could not find any error in logs. Attached the logs file. Can you share a sample csv file that worked for you for role creation?

Also can you make Role Modification Auto Approved from Global Configuration.

It is already set to auto approve in global configurations. Do you have any sample CSV that worked for you for role creation?

Hi @NirajSaraf ,

From the logs I can see that the "Upload Framework" is enabled in your instance. Can you please disable this under "ADMIN -> Global Configurations -> Preferences -> Enable Upload Framework" and try the import again? If its still not working, please share the logs. And also make sure the file name doesn't contain any space in it and it is a valid CSV file.
