Restriction of API to particular endpoint

Hi,

we have an requirement where the third party application calls saviynt API to create task/request for raising access request for certain endpoint. We would like to understand if we can restrict the API to raise request/task only to specific endpoint. Business doesnt want the API to have priveleges to create requests/tasks for any endpoint.

Any information in this regard would be appreciated.

You can make the application not requestable via security system but if you want it to be requestable via UI and only from Api to be restricted then it's not possible.

You can also explore the option of access query in endpoint to see who can request or not.

Thanks for your reply. We are looking for a solution to restrict this in API not for UI, that we are aware of. Thanks for confirming that it is not possible.

As per current design, we do not have capability rto restrict an API to any particular endpoint. However, you can go ahead and raise an idea for the same. 

On UI, we have access query at endpoint level but it doesn't hold effective for API call. so please raise an idea on ideas portal.
