Hi Team,

we have a requirement where users should mandatorily request either role or a group

like if the user selects a role then role should be mandatory for the user else if user selects a group then the group type should be mandatory

please let me know how can we achieve this?

Thanks,

Rizvana Shaik

You can keep entitlement type either mandatory or not .

As a workaround you can handle this using  dynamic attribute. Show same entitlement in Dynamic attribute once selected in dynamic attribute user will select in Entitlement type

If you find this response useful, kindly consider selecting 'Accept As Solution' and clicking on the 'Kudos' button.

But there might be scene where Ent1 and Ent2 both should be selected. Just that we need to make it should not go null and in either or case.

This can't be managed currently other than dynamic attribute .

So our requirement are :

EntType 1  and ENtType2 both are coming. Need to make sure either enttype1/2 or both should be filled by user then only they can submit.

Any possible dynamic attibute query can you pls suggest us how to implement this.

You can validate in workflow.

requiredrequestornotString Type Use for entitlementtypekey.requiredinrequest (entitlementtype){requiredinrequest == "TRUE"}

@RizvanaShaik ,

As per your requirement, need for either one or both entitlement type selection is required. This can be achieved by making use of dynamic attributes.

You can create a dynamic attribute for multi select with entitlement types for selection. Once the values are selected for dynamic attribute, the entitlements would be filtered. If you're using child dynamic attributes, make sure you've mentioned the parent attribute accordingly.

Please refer to below documentation link for the same on dynamic attributes
