Hi All,

We have a use case where we need to use SPN details to connect to a Database. We tried to use the Database connector in Saviynt but it failed.

Kindly help us with possible options to use an SPN to connect to a Database in Saviynt.

Thanks & Regards,

Mohit

The Database we are trying to connect is a SQL database hosted on Azure cloud.

You can connect to SPN using normal authentication or Kerberos based authentication,

Hi Rushikesh,

Are you referring to Local Authentication, if not Can you help us with a sample for normal authentication?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Rushikesh,

Thanks for sharing the sample of Kerberos. But we don't want to use a User & password our use case wants us to use SPN (client ID and Secret) to connect to the DB.

Can we connect to the DB using SPN client id and secret or is Kerberos is the only way to connect.

Regards,

Mohit.

if your authentication will be done by AD  then you need to use Kerberos . When you login manually do you add secret?
