Hi,

This is with reference to EIC PROD deployment. As per new EIC prod, if we have an option to Pause all jobs and not individual jobs.

Is there a way to pause one job at a time?

Hi @nsapna,

There is no way to pause the single job. You can add 0 15 10 * * ? 2099 Cron expression in required job's schedule in order to pause it.

Hi,

This will not serve the purpose. We are going live on 25th august and we have close to 94 jobs that need to be scheduled. We were thinking, if we could schedule it prior to the go live and pause the jobs and on go live we could unpause to avoid some time.

Thanks

@nsapna Then you can use Pause all option why you wanted to pause specific job?

Hi,

The go live is on 25th August. There are 94 jobs that we need to schedule. We thought we can schedule the job and pause it and unpause it on the go live to save some time.

But, when we try to schedule a job and continue to work on the other jobs and if there is some job that is ready for schedule, then it will be a problem. The schedule should technically start from the go live day.

Thanks

Hi @nsapna ,

There is no way to pause a job that has been triggered. The pausing option as per what you've indicated from the documentation works on all jobs that are scheduled in the future. Existing running jobs also do not get paused by this feature.

The only way to kill a running job is to restart the server.

Better to raise an idea in the idea's portal (Saviynt Ideas Portal)
