Hello,
Can you create different password policies, one for service accounts and the other for users? Also, where are password policies for service accounts set?
Thanks

A follow up on this question - When creating a password policy for service account, will the policy scope be set on the user level or application?

Application.
Saviynt allows you to define password policies for the following:
Application
User
Application password policies are attached to the security systems, and the User password policies are linked with the respective users.

Okay, got it. So can another password policy be created for Saviynt itself?

Yes.

Okay great. Where does that get attached?

But that's within another application right? I meant with Saviynt as an application and it's service account

For Saviynt you can define policy per users so based on user type normal / service account you can attach policy
10/19/2022 07:58 AM
okay, would that be set in the global config?
10/19/2022 08:09 AM
Only 1 Password policy for user But for account you can have 2 policy
10/19/2022 08:14 AM
Okay, will I need a saviyntforsaviynt application to set that up? Still unclear as to where that gets attached.
