Hi Team,

Does okta connector supports user import from okta to Saviynt ? I am trying to import users in Saviynt from OKTA using OKTA OOTB connector. I have configured USERFIELDMAPPINGS JSON in the connection.  Account import is working fine.

I am using 23.4 and I tried on 23.7 version as well but facing same issue.

Sample JSON's:

{
"username" : "profile.login",
"displayname" : "profile.displayName",
"firstname" : "profile.firstName",
"lastname" :"profile.lastName",
"email" : "profile.email",
"statuskey" : "status"
}

-----------------------------------------------

username = profile.login,
displayname = profile.displayName,
firstname = profile.firstName,
lastname = profile.lastName,
email = profile.email,
city = profile.city,
companyname = profile.organization,
country = profile.country,
manager = profile.manager,
customproperty1 = id,
customproperty2 = activated,
customproperty3 = profile.statusChanged,
customproperty4 = lastLogin,
customproperty5 = passwordChanged,
customproperty6 = profile.personID,
customproperty7 = profile.countryCode,
customproperty8 = profile.zipCode,
customproperty9 = profile.gender,
customproperty10 = profile.homePhone,
customproperty11 = profile.department,
customproperty12 = profile.contractEndDate,
customproperty13 = profile.oktaId,
employeeid = profile.employeeNumber,
employeeType = profile.userType,
job_function = profile.businessUnit,
location = profile.location,
middlename = profile.middleName,
preferedFirstName = profile.knownAs,
secondaryPhone = profile.mobilephone,
statuskey = status;

---------------------------------------------

{
"username" : "login",
"displayname" : "displayName",
"firstname" : "firstName",
"lastname" :"lastName",
"email" : "email",
"statuskey" : "status"
}

Thanks,

Gaurav

Can you confirm if you are getting any error when running the user import job.

No basically we tried user import using user import job. if we run application import with import type users then its importing properly but the thing is we don't want to create users in Saviynt just update should be trigger in incremental job. So any idea how we can ignore user creation if not exist in Saviynt?

You can update your trigger to only allow update operation. Edit the trigger and for below parameter (Allow User Operation), select the option as Update Only

Hi @SB , The solution you have provided will work for UserImport Job. But we are trying to import users via ApplicationImport Job.

Below you can see the Job we have configured in our system. Here we have define import type , and Job type.  and we want to update operation instead of creation in this job.

We tried with UserImport job which you have mentioned above using that job user are not importing in Saviynt.

Let me know any other details you need.

The user import via a Connection is the job that provides the option to select between Create and Update. In case you use Application data import, then you cannot handle this at the trigger level or any other config.

Can you confirm the error you are getting when using User import via a Connection
