Hi

We have a requirement to add some custom fields at the time create AD group Tile.

New Fields are:

mailNickname

proxyAddresses

RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled

managedby

AcceptMessagesOnlyFrom

So can we use the customproperty values from the creation page and map those customproperty values to push the data or Is there any way that we need to edit the form to populate these data(editing the form we need to touch the gsp file)

To add custom fields at the time of creating an AD group in Saviynt, you would need to edit the form by modifying the corresponding GSP file. Here are the steps you can follow:

1. Locate the GSP file for creating AD groups in your Saviynt deployment. The file is typically named "create.gsp" and can be found at the following path: `...\ECM\WEB-INF\grails-app\views\roles\adGroup\create.gsp`.

2. Open the "create.gsp" file and add the required form fields for the custom properties you mentioned: `mailNickname`, `proxyAddresses`, `RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled`, `managedby`, and `AcceptMessagesOnlyFrom`.

3. Save the changes to the GSP file. 4. Restart the Saviynt application to apply the modifications.

After making these changes, the custom fields will be visible on the create AD group form, and the values entered by the user can be mapped to the respective custom properties of the AD group during the create/update operation. Please note that modifying GSP files requires technical knowledge and expertise. It is recommended to take a backup of the original GSP file and test the changes in a non-production environment before deploying them to a production environment.

  • Yes you can use custom property of role/entitlement and exposed on UI.
  • GSP file to update can be found under File Directory in EIC version.
  • File name = roles/adGroup/create.gsp
