LDAP Access import long duration

We have 700 groups and 10 000 accounts  in our OpenLDAP test environment. 

When we do an import of accounts, it takes roughly 4-5 mins to complete. However, when we run an access import job, the job duration is longer than an hour.

Even though the job runs for over an hour, when i look at the account hierarchy for some randomly picked accounts, the entitlement hierarchy is already filled in 5-10 mins after the job started running.

Does anyone know why this is the case? Is it because of the number of accounts and links between groups? 

It is getting really annoying to test things because of this job duration.

1 hour for full import or incremental access import?

Do you see any error in logs? if possible try narrowing the search DN

It is a full import of access, I can't explain why we have to do the full import but it's neccessary. We have already checked the logs, we didn't find anything useful there.

As for the narrowing the search DN, when we try to only import access for a few groups, we get an error.
