Anyone have experience/issues creating a campaign based on Role Query?

  1. We created a role owner campaign with the following configurations:

Campaign Type: Role Owner

Application: Shown in pdf

Campaign Based On: changed from Role Certifier to Role Query

Role Query(HCL) section: We input the role keys of the roles we wish to only display for the selected application in the format : and ro.rolekey in (188,189,190,191,192)

Save Template

  1. We created a role owner campaign using the role owner campaign template of the application from above

Expected Outcome

When you create a role owner campaign based on role query:

  1. Campaign Status should be shown as “In Progress”
  2. Should be able to click into the campaign to view certification to launch
  3. The roles specified in the role query should be displayed in the certification

Actual Outcome

When you create a role owner campaign based on role query:

  1. Campaign is being launched message appears
  2. Campaign Status shown as “Completed”
  3. Able to click into the campaign to view any certification to launch
  4. No certification is shown in the certification list

Why is that?

Hi @aclother ,

For the rolekeys (188,189,190,191,192), Can you make sure you have added the owner with rank as 'Primary Certifier' or Rank 26 at the ROLE Level ?

The certifications will be launched for the these owners mentioned.

Do you have Active certifier(Primary Certifier) assigned to all the roles you expected to review in certification?

Better option is you test your configuration and details via preview mode and then mark as active.

As @sk / @DaanishJawed mentioned, Verify the mapping of Primary Certifier and their current Identity State in EIC.

Also, check the roles status and accounts associated.

@DaanishJawed @sk @Manu269 thank you all for your feedback. I added a primary certifier to each role specified in the role query. I launched the campaign and can see all the roles in the certification.
