Issues while resetting password using Password Sync Filter

Hi Team,

We have configured Password Sync Filter on domain controllers as per the guidelines provided in Saviynt documentation

Issue -

When password is changed from the AD endpoint, 'Change Password' request is generated in Saviynt for other account that user is having. But, it is also generating 'Change Password' pending tasks/request for some other users repetitively which is not expected.

For example - Password was reset from AD for only one user. But password reset events are getting generated for other users also even though no changes were done for those accounts.  We can see these events in the password filter logs as well.


Also, we need to provision the Change password task instantly and not wait for any provisioning job to complete it. We tried to enable Instant Provisioning in Security System and in Global Configurations > Tasks. But it is not working as expected.

Please assist.

This looks like a bug if it's triggering for multiple users even if you do for single user,

Would suggest you to raise FD ticket so that support team can check fully and analyze the logs
