Is there an option to disable emails to be send to users?

All,

I am in a process of configuring the staging environment and I was wondering if there's an option of disabling the SMTP configuration. Currently I just changed the information on the SMTP settings to avoid sending emails, however, it is creating failures on tasks and I am trying to avoid that.

• Update wrong email in email templates
• update wrong email in smtp configuration
