Invoke external JAR in Saviynt during import of Users from Database

Hi Team,

We have faced an issue where the preprocessor JAR is not invoked during DB import or CSV import of Users. Is there any option or configuration attribute in the import XML that needs to be set in order to invoke the jar or is this a known issue or bug of Saviynt?

We have seen that during import/creation of Users via API it is invoked, and the jar works fine.

Hi @sdey_2023

For the DB based import, is the MODIFYUSERDATAJSON of the DB connection not working?

The class and methods can be defined in the JSON.

Also for upload of users via csv. It's one of the options that you can set at the time of upload via UI

Hi armaanzahir,

Thanks for sharing this. We have a preprocessor jar which is already uploaded under externaljar in File Directory and we want to use that during DB import, so should we specify the class and method name within the customfunctions in modifyuserdatajson? We do use modify json but the customfunctions is not used.

Can you share logs
