How to map child Entitlements in Other Entitlements tab during DB import

Hi All,

We have a use case where we need to create an Entitlement and map the dependent entitlements in the Other entitlement details tab. This is to generate the tasks for the dependent entitlements when a request was placed for the Main entitlement.

This we are trying as an alternative for Roles, as Service accounts cannot have roles requested from Saviynt.

So please help us with how we can map the dependent entitlements to the entitlements during the DB Import from external MSSQL DB.

Please refer the below document for importing Entitlement and Entitlement Hierarchy using a DB connector.

Also, If you want to import the entitlement hierarchy, create two different Database connections, since you must specify different configurations in this parameter to import entitlement values and the entitlement hierarchy separately. Same is mentioned in the document too.

We are trying to map the entitlements in the other entitlement details tab. Can we do this via Entitlement Hierarchy JSON.

Please let us know if we can do this via hierarchy import.

Hi @Mohit_Sanka , what you are looking for is the Entitlement Mapping functionality which is different from Entitlement Hierarchy. Currently you cannot have entitlement mapping using the DB connector( enhancement for this is under consideration), you will need to upload CSV file for Entitlement Map.

One limitation for this is that you need to have a separate CSV file for every parent entitlement that you have. We have an enhancement request to allow multiple entitlements, you can check it out here.
