How to assign Enduser_sav_role to users imported via CSV File

Hello everyone,

We are preparing to deploy nearly 10,000 users to the production environment by importing them via CSV file into Saviynt. During this initial import, we want to ensure that all users are assigned the ENDUSER SAV role.

I came across a suggestion to modify the `externalconfig.properties` file by setting the property `job.ecm.imp.file.defaultrole=ROLE_ENDUSER`. This change should assign the ROLE_ENDUSER to all new users upon import. Is it recommended to change the configuration file for this purpose?

Additionally, we are using SFTP to download the user's CSV file into Saviynt, and there is an option to use a default SAV role during import. Could this feature be used to assign the ENDUSER SAV role to all users from day one?

• connection default sav role is used for application visibility control under admin menu
