Filtering the Roles in ARS by making use of tag search field

Hi All, 

We are trying to use the Tag Search Field for Enterprise Roles to filter the roles based on the tags field selected while requesting access. The tag field values are added in customproperty1 attribute of Enterprise Roles. Below are the approaches that we have tried and not getting the expected behaviour:

1. Enabled Tag search field for enterprise role for customproperty1 , added value in few roles and It is not working 

2. Similarly, we have tried with enabling endpoints and enterprise role for customproperty1, added value in few roles customproperty1 and this is also not working.

3. We tried using enabling endpoints, entitlements and enterprise role for customproperty1, added value in few roles customproperty1 and this is also not working.

Observed Behavior-> Tags should appear in the drop-down as shown below but they don't even after the above configurations are in place:

Expected Behavior-> Custom property1 option should be available to end-users to be able to filter.

We also had run the Microservice Job and even restarted the instance. But the tags are not populating.

We tried below options also to set flag to NO and YES and tested it out but the drop-down as shown above doesn't provide a filter to be able to filter against customproperty1. It doesn't change or is available for dropdown.

Is this the expected behavior w.r.t to previous forums for the v24.5 as well?

Note: We are running on V24.5 

What can be the workaround for this ? Is it possible to inculcate the requirement or how should it ideally go?

Its not supported in NEO request module, I have already raised idea ticket you can upvote

Thanks for the response. Is there any other way we can handle this in the NEO UI? I tried couple of ways to do it and below are the results:

Filter Results for below Config:

Tag Search Field for Enterprise Roles: Custom Property1
Enable enhanced application catalog based searches? : YES
Microservices Job Run and Env Restart: YES

Results:

1. No drop down filter available
2. Roles with Custom Property1 value are only requestable
3. Roles without custom property value are not requestable
4. Child roles tied to parent roles with few entitlements are not available for Request

Roles with 0 entitlement + cp1 value: Requestable
Roles with 1 entitlement+ cp1 value: Requestable
Roles with 0 entitlement + cp1 value: Requestable
Roles with 0 entitlement + no cp1 value + child role: Non-requestable
Roles with 1 entitlement + cp1 value + child role : Requestable

Can you let me know if this is the expected behavior running on v24.5?

This is expected behavior till 24.7 with workaround as You can add tag in description of application
