Hi Team,
When we are trying to request entitlements from ARS, we are getting error "Error occurred while calculating SODs" and we are not working on SOD module
If anyone have worked on this pls help us in this.

Can you check if you have duplicate entitlements for which you are getting this error?

Hi,
Check for the below pointers -
1. Duplicate entitlements present in the system.
2. Set the below config in Global Config > Request > Endpoints to Evaluate SOD > Set this to a dummy endpoint for which SOD is not being used.

Hi Daanish,
Endpoints to Evaluate SOD - We set the endpoint which are nit used, still we are getting the same error.

Did you check if you have any duplicate entitlements?

@DaanishJawed can you please elaborate more on point 2 you mentioned?
Why do we need to define the dummy endpoint?
My expectation is if nothing is specified EIC will scan all available Rulesets. If nothing is defined it should work.
Is this a limitation or identified issue?

Hi @Varshi_Balaji ,
If there are duplicate entitlement values with one Active and other one Inactive, then also this issue can arise. Please make sure there are no duplicates in the system regardless of their status.
@Manu269Thanks for pointing it out. You are correct, if nothing is specified then it will scan for all endpoints. In customers, where there are no SOD's being used at all, we need to set this to a dummy endpoint (product limitation) in order to avoid SOD calculation/SOD Error during request submission. This is a gap in the documentation which we will take it up and report it to the documentation team.
