Endpoint - Users having access to Endpoint

Hi Team,

How is the count of users arrived at "Users having access to Endpoint" tab under an endpoint? Is it the number of active accounts correlated to the users table (Identity) . In our case, it doesn't match the number of active accounts - so unclear

 Users having access to Endpoint - This  are all users which are correlated to account irrespective of account status
