Hi,

Anyone let me know the key difference between elastic and non elastic search in Analytics

Thanks,

I appreciate you reaching out to the Saviynt forums.

  • In Saviynt, Elastic Search is used for real-time analytics and is highly optimized for high volume, low latency searches. Elastic search provides near-instant search results and is well suited for applications that require real-time analysis of large volumes of data.
  • Non-Elastic Search: Non-Elastic search refers to traditional search engines that are not designed to handle large volumes of data. Non-Elastic search engines are typically used for smaller applications and are less scalable than Elastic search. They may be slower and less optimized for handling large volumes of data.
  • In Saviynt, Non-Elastic search is typically used for batch processing and other non-real-time analytics tasks. Non-Elastic search may be better suited for applications that require deep analysis of data over time, rather than real-time analysis of large data volumes.
  • In the context of Saviynt analytics, the key difference between Elasticsearch and non-Elasticsearch search technologies is their ability to handle large and complex datasets and provide real-time search and analytics capabilities. Elasticsearch can index and search large amounts of data quickly and efficiently, making it ideal for use cases where real-time data analysis and search are critical. Non-Elasticsearch technologies, on the other hand, may be better suited for use cases where the data is structured and the search requirements are more basic.

In summary, the key difference between Elastic and Non-Elastic search in Saviynt is that Elastic search is optimized for real-time, high-volume searches, while Non-Elastic search is better suited for batch processing and deep analysis of data over time.
