Checking uniqueness of DL name while creation through Group management

Hi Team,

We have a requirement where in DL name uniqueness should be checked while creation against AD (Proxy name,email and upn) and append suffix '2' if match found. We are planning to create DL using Group management supported by Saviynt's AD connector.(https://saviynt.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/43000636676-managing-active-directory-group...)

Please suggest a possible approach to achieve this requirement.

Hi Smitha,

I do not think there is anything available OOB to validate the uniqueness of the group names. I have not seen any configs where we can configure the "Group Name logic" for the Group Management module.

If it was from the API, perhaps you can have your own logic based on the response it recieves but from the UI, there is none that I am aware of.
