Behaviour of "User Not in Feed Action" with multiple sources

Hi,

quick question about the option "User Not in Feed Action" in User Import Job:

How does this behave if I have multiple authoritative sources? When I set it to "Inactivate", will it check all users and also inactivate those from other sources? Or does it limit itself to the users that were imported from the same source before?

Thanks!

Hello @ASA,

The “User Not in Feed Action” option in User Import Job behaves based on the source of the user data.
When you set it to “Inactivate”, it considers the source of the input feed and only inactivates the users from that particular connection.

This means it will not inactivate users from other sources. It limits itself to the users that were imported from the same source before.

However, it’s important to note that if you have multiple sources and users can switch between sources, it’s recommended not to use the “not in file” feature.

Also, the USERSOURCE column in the users table stores the Connection ID used in the connection through which the user is imported.
This is used in identifying users not in the file
