Hi

In V2021 in Application Restart (Admin>Admin Function> Application Restart), we do not see any entries after successful restart, is this the expected behavior?, However in v5.5 it does shows the entries. Below are the screen shots from both versions.

V5.5:

V2021:

Thanks in advance!

How to identify that server restart is complete?

Thanks

There is no option visible in the UI, to see whether Restart is completed or not. But I used to verify with the session clearance in my browser, it will be asked for re login.

Hi All,

Please find detailed response from Saviynt Engineer on this :

"Currently we don't get any notification in UI after the application restart. In the backend the POD will get restarted one after the other in a rolling fashion. We have to validate after 20 to 30 mins the changes will get reflected or the job's will get cleared.

Note: An enhancement is already in place for an UI notification after the restart which is being worked upon and it is still not confirmed in which version it would be released."

More insights :

In V2021 we dont have specific servers rather all the jobs, tasks and activities run's on microservice hence we wont have any server configuration. If you go to logs you will see different POD's specific to each activity like (ARSMS, ECM, ECM-Worker etc) each POD(microservice) will running for different activity.

In the UI we don't have specific service(POD's) configuration where we need to configure it for it to get restarted. Once the restart is initiated the microservice's will get restarted without a downtime.
