Hello All,

does anyone know which component to select to check the logs for account name generation for both request based and role based access provisioning.

Hi Nitin,

While raising a request, check the 'ARSMS' logs.
When the task is generated via rules, look at ECM logs.

Hi Nitin,

Saviynt does not allow the use of custom functions/stored pocedures in the db schema.

Hello Avinash,

In that case what are the options made available to generate sequential numbers as account name for application onboarding.

Thanks,

Pallavi

Hi Pallavi,

The only customization is via the Advanced Query option.

Advanced config allows to configure rules based on user properties only there we cannot access any other SSM table to get MAX account name etc,  Hence not able to generate the sequential number using advanced config.

Is there anything that we are missing?

Also drawback of advanced config is it does not support auto increment.

Thanks,

Pallavi

Hi Pallavi,

If the users table is the only one available from the account name configurations (I havent' tried it out yet) Perhaps, exploring the dynamic attributes and mapping it to a name in the account table ?

You should be able to choose any/most of the tables from the dyamic attributes.

Hi Avinash, Are you referring to the user custom properties? Challenge is how do we populate Unique sequential number for user CP to be used in account name rule. Preprocessing JSON - Max value reference issue. It will update same value for all new users. Eg., Max (currusers.CP) + 1 will copy same number for all applicable users if done in preprocessing query JSON. If its endpoint - dynamic attributes then we tried it. In case of role based access provisioning SQL based dynamic attributes are not evaluated with the value. Thanks, Pallavi

Hi Pallavi,

I meant trying out in the endpoint dynamic atributes but you've said it doesn't work for role based provisoning.

I'm not sure if there are any other alternatives at this point.
