Ask for startdate end date while request is mandatory to show start date and end date for entitlements in request submission page

On top of it, if we need to restrict to show startdate/enddate only for a few entitlements and not all, then we need to add the filter in Entitlement Filter Query for Request Start/End Date in Endpoint show page

Take one example,

Entitlement Type : 'Role' with 30 entitlements (assume #E1 to #e30) and business wants underline 'Role' entitlement type 2 entitlements (#E1 and #E2) should have a start date and end date where end date is mandatory.

The configuration we have :

Endpoint level :

Entitlement Filter Query for Request Start/End Date : and ev.customproperty12 = 'EndDate_Required' where we manually put the string 'EndDate_Required' in entitlement (E1 and E2) metadata for Cp12

Entitlement Type :

Ask For Start Date End Date While Request : Enabled

Config JSON for Request Dates : {"ENDDATEREQUIRED":"1"} for Enddate mandatory

Hi Vijay, thanks for your input. currently we are using same option.

But the problem is that now we can only have start/end mandatory for filtered entitlements, however we can not make start/end optional as we marked : "ENDDATEREQUIRED" : "1"

can we add condition/filteron entitlements under eg;

Config JSON for Request Dates : {"ENDDATEREQUIRED" : if entl_risk='high' then '1' else '0'}

Hi Minesh, currently we are using the same setting. but we are looking if we can keep start/end mandatory as well as optional for filtered entitlements.

is there way that we can add filter/condition in : Config JSON for Request Dates : {"ENDDATEREQUIRED" : if entl_risk='high' then '1' else '0'}

We are working on The "Entitlement Filter Query for Request Start/End Date" should filter the entitlements with query like "and ev.SOX_CRITICAL = 5", so that a specific set of entitlements can only require the enddate, and for other entitlements it should not ask for enddate as well. Also this query should support the filtering for entitlement_values table columns such as SOX_CRITICAL, SOD,SYS_CRITICAL,RISK. We will notify you once the issue resolved.

thanks for update Vijay.

Is there any enhancement for : "Config JSON for Request Dates" so that we can add some condition in JSON like ENDDATEREQUIRED=1 or ENDDATEREQUIRED=0 based on some conditions ?

Working on "Entitlement Filter Query for Request Start/End Date" should filter the entitlements, so that a specific set of entitlements should ask the dates, others should not even show the start/end date.
