How do I set up landing pages for each section like ADMIN, ANALYTICS, ROLE etc ?

I want to land on specific pages within a section when i click the section name in the top nav.

Anybody has any idea if this is possible?

If yes, then how to configure it?

Looks like this feature is not possible in Saviynt.

If someone can confirm that it is not available, at least I will now.

Hi Anand,

This is possible, these are in Saviynt terms request map changes, the following steps to achieve this following are the steps:

1. Request Map (This is under Admin Menu -> SAV Roles)

2.The Menu Column Marks the module, Sub Menu Is the Nav Bar options displayed on the Left

4 To change click on edit button and Check the "Mark as Landing Page" , ensure that no other Sub Menu belonging to same Menu has this checked

5. Under Admin Menu -> SAV Roles -> Click on Clear Request Map

6. Logout and Log back in.

7. Click on the Module it should direct you to the new landing page

Note : For a SAV role to be see this Menu Option on the top nav bar post changes needs to have the page marked as landing page granted in access.

Hope this helps.

Arpit,

I started doing what you mentioned. But it seems to be a very cumbersome process, especially to ensure that no other sub menu has this checkbox selected.

There are about 359 pages in total on the Request Map list page. And I don't think I can go about opening each and every page to ensure that the landing page checkbox is not selected.

Solutions:

Can you display the Landing Page flag on the RequestMap List Page?

Alternatively, can you tell me the database tables which store the information about the Request Map. I can write a Report to find out which sub menus are landing pages and which are not.

Hi,

I am trying to grant login access with different landing pages for different SAV roles but any user other than Admin logs in then the user gets an Access Denied error. Is there any place where we can configure access permissions to different SAV roles or do I need to do anything else for successful login for non Admin users.

Please let me know what am I missing.

Regards & Thanks,

Chandan

Hi,

We have an enhancement wherein the user would be able to configure the landing page for each function. With release you would get the guide on usage details.

Thanks

Ajay
