Hello,

According to https://saviynt.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/43000431574-creating-endpoints article on creating endpoints it says that you should be able have account name rule that generates incremental series such as "A0001", "A000B".

Any tips how you should configure account name rule to generate incremental series like A0001, A0002, etc. There is no "Custom string" option in basic configs and not sure if auto increments are available in advanced configs.

Thanks,

Juha

Hi Juha,

We have an improvement available to add custom string to account name rule. Auto increment is not available as part of advance config.

Thanks

Ajay

Hi Ajay,

Is this improvement available for 5.5.0-SP3? Can we request it via support request?

Thanks,

Juha

Does account name rule support calling database functions that would returns next ID from a database sequence. Then we could use advanced query as a workaround for missing custom string option.

Thanks,

Juha

Account name rule support database functions like concat, substring, but you cannot have custom functions.
