Assign an entitlement using regex, without creating a lot of roles

Hi,

We're new to Saviynt and we are struggling with how to assign a more complex entltlement to users. We have 3 variables that we need to check before we add a user to a group: location, department, level.

So let's say we have a person in Chicago, who is in Sales and he's a VP, the group we'd add him to would be CHGO-Sales-VP. If he moves to New York, he'd need to moved to NWYK-Sales-VP.

The problem is we have 25 different location, 5 different departments, and 8 different levels, so you can see the number of iterations we would need to create to cover all possible combinations to create the roles and technical rules.

Is there a better way to do this? Can we use regex to build this based on the department, location and level attributes? Almost like a job would run that would build "CHGO-Sales-VP" from that user's attributes, then add him to that AD group.

Appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks.

Hi MIke,

Please find the link to the documentation. You can create rule using the dynamic attributes.
