Approval Workflow: Entitlement Variable not available in Serial Workflow

Hello All,

We have requirement to assign entitlement requests approval task to some default user group in Saviynt when there is no entitlement owner defined for requested entitlement. However as per documentation available on freshdesk - "Entitlement variable is not Supported By Serial Workflow and please Note if you will use in If condition block it will not give any Error but always goes to Else Block".

In this case how do we implement the requirement with the serial level approval workflow. Why entitlement variable is not available with serial approval workflow is there any specific reason?

You should use parallel workflows for the usecase. All items in a serial workflow move together, so you cannot get conditional approvals done for part of the request (for a few entitlements).
