You are correct, they don't. When the old posts were migrated over, the FreshDesk links were not mapped appropriately to the new forums. This was an unavoidable limitation during the migration process. (As well as several other limitations, like not knowing who the original author of a post is.) Luckily, most of the posts can still be searched for if you know the subject title or keywords from the post. I highly recommend giving it a try.
As the new forums grow, and more content appears, these problems will become a thing of the past. But for now, yeah it hurts a bit not having that information just a click away.
