Forums Notifications needs to be auto cleared ?

I have opened all posts, and in order to clear the notification count on the top right corner, I need to click on the bell icon to clear manually.

Expected behavior is that once I open the post notification, the count should reduce automatically.

This is the expected behavior of the system.

The notifications icon alerts users to various activities based on their settings, such as receiving kudos, being mentioned in a post, receiving an accepted solution, replies, earning new badges, etc.

To clear the notification count, it does need to be clicked manually.

I understand that managing a high volume of notifications can be overwhelming, especially if you’re subscribed to many threads. But that is not the typical user experience.
