Use Case

We have encountered an issue regarding the Workday to Saviynt Import Feed where some users were not included.

After conducting an analysis, we discovered that the problem lies with the date range (response filter) in the Workday to Saviynt connector. The issue is that while users who fall within the date range are being included in the feed, users who are backdated are being missed.

We would appreciate your input on whether it is possible to expand the response filter date range or if switching to a RAAS-based connector would be a more effective solution.

Pre-requisites

Should have the workday integration in place using SOAP Connector

Applicable Version(s) : ALL

Solution:

Our recommended workaround involves following these steps:
  1. Set the date range to include the very first employee date in the past and today's date.
  2. Run the full import job once the date range is set.
  3. After the full import is completed, reset the date range to the current configuration.
  4. Schedule the incremental import job with the currently specified date range in the JSON file.
We suggest trying this workaround in your test environment to see if it helps resolve any issues you may be experiencing.

when you say date range at point/step 1, are you referring As_Of_Effective date or Effective_from/Through or updated_from/through?
