Dear All,

I'm searching how to manage properly the DelegatedAccount object in salesforce connector and I cannot find any reference to it. Is it something not supported by the platform by any chance?

Kind regards,

Albert.

Hi @travemole

Can you please share the use case details that you are trying to achieve here?

Please check if the below documentation helps:

Hi @adarshk,

Delegates are not the same as DelegatedAccount in Salesforce. Just to give you some context please find below some explanation of what a DelegatedAccount object is used for.

Let's Imagine the next scenario

Salesforce has (I'm simplifying as there's many other objects):
- Accounts

- Groups

- Roles

- DelegatedAccounts

Now, what I need is not to grant a global role, but to grant a Role Over a Specific group. For that action I use in salesforce the DelegatedAccount object that basically tells salesforce that Over the Group X y have the Role Y for the user M. The issue here, is that this relation is dynamic and generated on the fly (new ID per DelegatedAccount) while in Saviynt I cannot generate this unless I create a new entitlement type that is the N-N combination of all the Groups with all the Roles (DynamicProperties do not trigger Add access task unfortunately).

So my question is, without having more than 1 million entitlements how I can accomplish this scenario from salesforce via ARS request.

Let me know if it's not clear.

Kind regards,

Albert.

Hi Albert,

Currently Saviynt OOTB Salesforce connector doesn't not support this feature.
You can explore the API's exposed by Salesfore which can be leveraged for this and try achieving it by REST connector.

Thanks,
